I am pleased to share with Baysiders that the Brisbane Airport Community Giving Fund has officially opened applications.

Key Points:

  • Applications are now open for the Fund

  • Cash grants of up to $5,000 are available to support local programs in a range of categories

  • Over $450,000 has been donated through the Fund since 2015

Since 2015 Brisbane Airport has been supporting our local community through the Community Giving Fund, donating approx. $450,000 to over 250 organisations in the Greater Brisbane area.   The fund provides cash grants up to $5,000 to support local programs and projects that align with one of the below categories:   • Enquiring Minds  ◦ Projects and programs that inspire younger generations to grow and learn.  ◦ Example: Giving BAC: Second Shot | Brisbane Airport (bne.com.au) • Protecting our Planet ◦ Projects and programs that preserve, protect, and celebrate our natural environment.  ◦ Example: Reef Check Brisbane Airport ✈️ (@brisbaneairport) • Instagram photos and videos • Connecting Community  ◦ Projects and programs that enable community groups to enrich the diversity of Greater Brisbane and support improved accessibility outcomes for people of all abilities and backgrounds.  ◦ Example: Giving BAC: Brisbane Pride Choir | Brisbane Airport (bne.com.au) • Health & Wellbeing  ◦ Projects and programs that celebrate and support our healthy Queensland lifestyle.  ◦ Example: Giving BAC: The Boss Boxing | Brisbane Airport (bne.com.au)
