Airservices Australia have released Phase 3 of design options for the Noise Action Plan for Brisbane.
Key Points:
- A new phase of design options has been released for the Noise Action Plan for Brisbane
- Changes made include to early morning and turbo-prop aircraft departures
- Also included are changes to flight paths to route more traffic over industrial land and water
In this Phase, there have been several changes. This includes preventing non-jet aircraft departures between 5am and 6am from the new runway, and a new requirement for all non-jet over land departures from the legacy runway to track back over the airport/industrial land and continue their climb over water.
