Guiding in Queensland was established in 1919 and today, Girl Guides Queensland is the largest youth organisation for girls and young women in Queensland with over 4000 youth members, 900 Leaders and adult Members, and more than 1000 active volunteers.

Hemmant Scout Group officially began in the local community in 1938 and has been continually running since.

We are an active outdoor and adventure group for young Australians and their families and have been operating since 1938. 

New members are welcome from aged 5yrs to 25yrs old. 

We assign each youth member to a ‘Section’ based on their age. Our group currently offers the following Sections:
