Practical help and resources before, during and after emergencies. Services for people falling through the gaps, including those experiencing homelessness and loneliness. Programs to support refugees, people seeking asylum or in immigration detention and other who are vulnerable as a result of migration.
Bayside Brass
Bayside Brass currently competes at a C-Grade Level at State and National Brass Band competitions as well as a busy community-based performance program. The band has a library of classic and contemporary music as well as high-quality instruments available for those who are looking to join and do not currently own an instrument.
Bayside Community Legal Service
Bayside Community Legal Service Inc. is an incorporated community organisation founded in 1992. We are a registered not for profit charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for profits Commission and are a nationally accredited community legal centre. Our vision is to help build a culturally safe, just and inclusive society that values difference and diversity, by providing free legal services, help and education to people in the Bayside community, who are socially, economically and/ or physically disadvantaged or otherwise vulnerable.
Bayside Forum Communicators
Bayside Forum is a friendly, supportive group that meets twice a month in the Wynnum-Manly area. The aim of our meetings is to improve confidence and communication skills. Members learn and practise public speaking, how meetings run, the roles and duties of office bearers and workshop facilitation. Feel free to contact us if you would like to learn new skills, enhance your abilities and meet new people. Visitors are always welcome.
