Key Points:

  • The 2024 Queensland Multicultural Awards are now open

  • Several award categories are available for entry

  • Nominations Close on Sunday, 7 April 2024

The awards are an important opportunity to share the extraordinary and innovative ways people and organisations are making Queensland communities stronger and more cohesive by ensuring everyone is supported to connect, contribute and belong.   Give someone or an organisation the recognition they deserve for building a prosperous, fair and harmonious Queensland. Nominations are open in the following categories:   • Outstanding contribution by a new Queenslander (individual) • Diversity and inclusion champion (individual and organisation) • Multicultural sector outstanding achiever (individual and organisation) • Lifetime Achiever (individual). This is new category to celebrate extraordinary individuals who have demonstrated a longstanding commitment to promoting and supporting diversity and inclusion in their communities.   This year, for the first time, nominations will be accepted in your language. To arrange for a nomination in your language, please contact [email protected] by Friday 29 March 2024.   Nominations close at 5pm on Sunday 7 April 2024.   Winners will be announced in August, during our largest celebration of cultural diversity in Queensland, Multicultural Queensland Month.
